About the Site: TransBat.Com

Many of my friends, family, and instructors have asked me, what the heck is TransBat.Com? The easy reply from me is that its my personal webspace and e-mail provider. While this soothes the curiosity of some, anyone who desires to know more should read on.

The name itself comes from two of my favorite things from childhood...two things that helped mold the values and ideals I still hold true to today. The name TransBat.Com combines my love of Transformers and Batman into a unique identifier I've come to cherish. I have owned the domain since Feburary 27th of 2001, and plan on owning it for a long time.

Initially, TransBat was just something I fooled around with to help myself learn HTML and other webcoding techniques. At first, I could only create basic text-only webpages. I tried adding graphics to the site, but could never find any that suited the idea I wanted. On a random chance while I was fooling around with the Paint program in the Windows Operating System, I discovered that I could actually draw to some extent...a talent I didn't know I had. After honing my skills a little bit, I became the webmaster for the Alpha Eta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, and eventually got our site running as a sub-domain of TransBat.Com. The rest is history. I now host sub-domains for many of my friends, so they can try their hands at Web Authoring. My family now uses TransBat for all of their e-mail needs, and find it neat that the e-mail they use comes from their son/brother.

This site has become a life-long endeavor for me, enabling me to push my limits on all aspects of design (when time permits), and also allows me to provide a useful service to my family and friends as well. If this site is anything, TransBat.Com is an outlet for any and all of my creativity, and a reflection of who I truly am.
